Must do better!

A good friend of mine recently stumbled upon this blog whilst doing a google search. She noted that it seemed as though I had dropped off the end of the earth since my last posting. Reassuringly I haven’t done so, although I came close to being blown off a mountain in the Lake District, but that is another story.

Suitably chastened by my friend, I have vowed to keep the blog up to date, with an aim of a post a day. Of course, there is plenty of local news to comment upon, including the at least temporary block on the Waterfront development, the mumblings of Councillor Murphy and the tenuous existence of the Independent/SNP council administration.

Just those things will keep me busy at the keyboard over the next few weeks.
